3. Sugar

Sugar acts as a natural exfoliator  that helps remove the dead skin cells and brings out the ingrown hair. Mix some white sugar, extra virgin olive oil or jojoba oil and ten drops of tea tree oil and lavender oil. Apply this scrub on the affected area and gently rub in a circular motion for a few minutes. Leave it for 5 minutes. Then wash off with lukewarm water. Apply this remedy once daily.sugar

Note: This scrub can be kept in an airtight container in a refrigerator for further use.

2. Salt

Salt works as a great exfoliating agent and at the same time helps increase circulation, promote healing and reduce swelling.

Mix one and one-half teaspoons of table salt in one cup of lukewarm water.
Dip a cotton ball in the mixture and gently rub it over the affected skin.
Leave it on for a few minutes and then rinse it off with water.
Do this twice daily until the ingrown hair clears up.
